We had been regulars at this park. The park supervisor must have changed and so did the atmosphere of this park. The staff patrolled often, which it good, but seemed only to look for things to fuss at people about. They came around at 9:30 PM and told you that at 10:00 you couldn't make a sound, then at 10:00 if you were still out they came again and let you know to only whisper, no radios were allowed past then. They also were on the hill at the swimming hole with binos looking for "violations" and handing out tickets. We will not return until the staff does. Otherwise, a nice park.

Very rustic. The roads are gravel and a bit rough. The sites are gravel and unlevel. It is like camping in a national forest but with full hook ups. There are no restroom/bath facilities. The park is VERY quiet. There was only two other campers there during our visit. We will stay elsewhere next time. A bit too rustic for us.

Military Campground on NAS Corpus Christi. Lots of great fishing. Swimming was really only good in base pool located next door. Very windy location with many stickers. Host and other campers were friendly. The park was quiet and dark which I like. We might stay again. If you want the beach, I would suggest staying elsewhere. Although driving across the bay to a Padre Island beach was only a 15 min. drive.

Very quiet park, nice setting (around county horse barns & arena). We would stay there again. It's a great place to overnight or if you have something else to do in Baton Rouge.

Quiet state park. Sites are short and not built for RVs. The table and fire ring are on the back side of RVs. 90% of the sites are very shady and private feeling. The park has nice trails and two bath facilities.

A very quiet park (except road noise). All of the other campers were long-term/winter Texans. The nightly sites are too close together. Our slides came out to the next site's table and our sewer hookup was literally next to the table. Lucky for everyone, we were the only camper for three sites each way. We were not able to put out our awning because of the space issues. There are trees (some large, some small) between each parking space. This limits where you can pull up to with slides. The staff was friendly and the restrooms and showers were clean.

Nice family park. Much like a state park. Our site was fairly level, very shaded and private feeling. The lake is very warm because it is an electric plant lake. Without a boat, the swimming is limited due to the large amounts of hydrilla. Very friendly staff and the sites and cabins (where my brother's family stayed) were clean.

Very quite, friendly camp ground. Lots and lots of wildlife. (turkeys & deer abound) Great trails, bird watching blinds, fun swimming hole. We went with friends and had a great time. We will return. I think the late fall would be great.

We were very disappointed with this park. The staff was friendly, but the park was not designed for todays RVs. The sites are too close together and face opposite directions. When there is a trailer beside yours both units can't put their slides out. The utilities are spaced 20' apart making some hookups very difficult. We also were invaded by ants! There was a group camped two spaces over that had a late night (2AM) party. Sorry, but this was a one and done!

Very clean, well designed park. Each site is slightly different which it nice. Our site overlooked a pond. Most sites have afternoon shade from the RV. The pool was never crouded (maybe another group there) put the spa was being repaired. We were there just after Hurricane Polly hit so the cable was out for a few days, but antenna reception was good. We will be coming back. Compaired to the other RV parks in the area, this one is by far the best.

Very nice park. It was clean and well laid out. The sites are level with a nice grass area between them. Easy to get in and out of. We would stay there again. The owner even told me to pick some tomatos from his garden! Don't find that anywhere.

This is a fun park. The sites are level and we maintained. There were lots of kids here and alot to keep them busy. Besides the river, there are two outdoor pools, an indoor pool and spa, sauna, steam sauna, game room, work out area, gym with basketball and pickleball, bands on the weekends, a bar and more. It is in a great location for exploring Kerrville. We would return.

Very friendly, quiet, level and clean park. We stayed four nights and had family visit us two of the evenings without any problems. This park is new and very clean. Bill, the manager, is extremely helpful and will even run you up river to tube. It is almost at the Florida border on Interstate 10 (exit 53). We would return when visiting family in the area.

A very nice state park. Some spots are for small trailers only. About half the sites are lake front. The staff is very nice, things are kept clean and well maintained. It can get kinda crowded during the weekends. We camped with friends and had a couple of sites. Each one had a fire pit/BBQ, nice table on slab, good shade trees and was level. We will go back.
